what can i expect at our picnic point?

Our service is designed to take care of everything so that you don’t have to. your selected package and add ons will be ready for you on-site. 

once your picnic is over, follow the instructions we sent for how to leave your picnic for us to collect safely. 

i don’t see a location i want.

that is the beauty of a picnic! you can set one up anywhere. whether it be your living room for a fun girl’s night or the special park that you both first met at, we will try our best to set up your picnic point. 

please send us a message with the address or GPS coordinates along with some pictures if it’s private property, like your home/backyard, and we’ll get back to you if we are able to make it happen.

i don’t see a theme i want.

DESERT point is committed to making any moment truly special. if you have a vision in mind or a specific request, please send us a message with photos or a link to a mood board of what you’re envisioning and we may be able to make it happen. 

where do we stay during your picnic?

DURING YOUR PICNIC WE WILL BE NEARBY THAT WAY If you need us during your picnic, you can call or text US and WE can be on-site within minutes.

do i need a permit?

That depends on the location, the number of people, and a couple of other factors. DESERt point packages do not require a permit at any of our preferred locations. If you request a special spot, we'll let you know if you need a permit and can help with that process.

do you offer vegan and vegetarian options?

Yes! We can accommodate most dietary needs, just note this upon completing your booking.

can I bring my dog?

Yes! we are pet friendly!

can I bring my own food?

Yes! you are more than welcome to bring your own! this is your moment. we don’t want to limit how special you want to make it.

what’s your cancellation policy?

We don't offer any refunds but we will reschedule your picnic or issue a credit with enough advance notice.

  • For parties of 2, 3, or 4 guests: No refunds. Full credit up to 48 hours in advance. 72 hours-12 hours, we charge a 50% cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations and no shows will not be issued a credit.

  • For parties of 5-24 guests: No refunds. Changes and cancellations made 1 week or more in advance will be issued a full credit; 7 days-2 days in advance, we charge a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be issued a credit.

  • For parties of 25+ guests: no refunds; changes and cancellations made 2 weeks or more in advance will be issued a full credit; cancellations or changes made within 14 days of the picnic will not be issued a credit.

what if there’s bad weather?

We sometimes have to move locations or change dates due to weather. If it looks like it may affect your reservation, we will contact you in advance of your picnic to discuss your options. There is no cancellation charge for rescheduling your picnic due to the weather.
